Many users are confused when they receive the notification for the periodic inspection of their installation. Don’t worry, it’s a standard process, and here we explain how to manage it correctly.
By law, Redexis is required to carry out a gas inspection every five years in all homes. Before this period expires, you will receive an official letter informing you that you can complete this process directly with them or hire an external company. Generally, the simplest option for the initial inspection is to coordinate it with the distributor itself (who usually charge a fee of approximately €43).
The two possible scenarios after the inspection
Once the technician visits your home, two things can happen:
Favorable Result: If everything complies with regulations, the technician will validate your installation and you won’t have to worry again for another five years.
Fault detection: If any gas anomalies are found, you will receive a detailed report. In this case, you have a period of time (usually 6 months) to rectify the errors. It is vital to act quickly, as the administrative resolution procedures can take time.
If the inspector has detected faults in your installation, the next step is to hire an authorized and certified company to carry out the necessary repairs. We take care of everything so you don’t risk your gas supply.
How do we work? It’s very simple:
Send us the report: Take a photo of the anomaly document left by the Redexis technician and send it to us via WhatsApp at 614 790 486.
Technical assessment: We will analyze the points you’ve indicated (such as problems with the flue, leaks, or faulty ventilation). Sometimes, we may ask for additional photos of your boiler or water heater to adjust the estimate.
Fixed price quote: We will give you a final price that includes travel, labor, materials and, most importantly, the handling of documentation with Redexis.
Final certification: Once the fault has been repaired, we sign and process the official resolution so that your file is clear and the supply is assured.
Don’t wait until the last minute
A common mistake is waiting until the repair deadline has passed. If the distributor does not receive the certificate of completion on time, they will proceed to seal off the installation.
